NPO Radio 2
I find creating radio imaging so fascinating because it is a perfect mix of creativity, technique and emotion. It gives me the chance to tell a story with sound and truly bring a show, item or station to life.

NPO Radio 5Listen →“I find Bas a highly creative radio maker in both form and content. As a DJ he is armed with a beautiful and versatile voice. The shows he has made, for any time of day, are very much his own and for a broad audience. He writes everything himself and almost all of the imaging comes ready-made from his own pen. So he is practically everything in one!”

Radio VeronicaListen →“Bas has the exceptional talent and the passion. He is the most captivating radio maker of the moment and he knows the here and now. He is truly worth it. You could call Bas a cross between Het Weeshuis van de Hits and de Staat van Stasse. But he is much more than that. Above all, he is himself, of course!”

Radio 538Listen →“I got to know Bas years ago as an enormously driven creative talent. With an exceptionally great love for the medium of radio, among other things. During my ‘Goud van Oud’ period at Veronica and then during my year at 538, Bas was largely the maker of the audio imaging. And as a maker in the morning and afternoon at Veronica he made a show with a lot of potential.”

Radio VeronicaListen →“I know no one as creative as Bas. His creativity does not stop at his own show. He thinks in stations, in listeners, in the bigger picture. That makes him not only an exceptional radio maker, but someone who truly moves a station forward. Bas is also very good at coaching people. He sees what you can do and knows how to bring it out. On top of that, his creativity can be heard in imaging. He makes jingles within seconds and it always hits the mark. Moreover, Bas embraces new technologies such as AI and immediately puts them to meaningful use.”
